This Travelodge serves a small community and many long distance travellers along highway 17. We were greeted warmly by Kirit at the front office in mid afternoon on a weekday, and he outlined available amenities (ie no breakfast on site) and described parking availability and the setup of the hotel (a new second separate wing has been constructed). The two wings are adjacent to each other, and a Tim Horton sits about 25 steps away, which is incredibly convenient! There are three parking areas, and the easiest to use is a three spot area sitting in between both wings. Our room was clean and well laid out, and, was equipped with a larger washroom, a bonus. Floor space there was significantly larger than most hotels. Toiletries were sufficient and plenty of towels offered. A tea, coffee and juice area sits inside the front door of each wing, and the hallways are very well lit. Our room was quiet, which we appreciated, especially when driving many hours for consecutive days. Having access to a luggage trolley would be helpful, as the hotel is not equipped with one.

Excellent Value Hotel with Outstanding Amenities This hotel exceeded expectations with its impeccable cleanliness and thoughtful amenities. The complimentary beverage bar in the lobby offers a great selection of coffee, fresh juices, and tea - perfect for starting the day or unwinding in the evening. Our two queen bed room featured a well-equipped kitchenette that made our stay incredibly convenient. The in-room kitchen included a microwave, coffee maker, and sink, which was ideal for preparing simple meals like instant noodles during late hours. Among hotels in this price range, this property stands out as the best value we’ve experienced. The combination of cleanliness, amenities, and practical room features creates an exceptional guest experience. Highly recommended - we would definitely choose this hotel again for future stays.

I stayed there for one night during my cross Canada bike trip and I highly recommend this hotel to other cyclists. It is a great quality for the price. I had no problem with putting my bike inside my room. The room was modern, comfortable and very clean. I appreciated unlimited coffee, tea and juice. The location was good: right across from Tim Hortons and close to a grocery store.

There is plenty to like about this hotel. Beds are comfortable. On the higher end of medium firm. The AC worked. The bathtub is huge, which is great for having a nice soak at the end of the day. The TV let's you watch your own channels once you sign into them. HBO, Netflix, Disney, etc. The bedding was nice and it was very quiet. We would not have known other people were even there. It's CLEAN and the price is reasonable. The down sides. Hallways are way, way too warm. It almost has a penitentiary feel to it. Which could be because everything looks so solidly built. Be aware that there is no comfortable place to sit and relax. There is a small table with 2 padded chairs. Which is good in some respects. Honestly there is no room to put a comfortable chair in the room. It's all pretty tight in there. So the table idea is the best way for them to have gone. The bathroom is oversized. If breakfast matters to you, they have nothing. But Tim Hortons is a few steps away. As long as you know going into this place what you are and are not getting, you'll be happy here.

Great hotel with new, comfortable rooms. Everything was clean and modern, and we really enjoyed our stay. I especially appreciate the hotel manager, Kirit, for his outstanding help. Our booking app accidentally reserved two rooms instead of one. He informed us about the issue at check-in, suggested contacting the app’s technical support, and kindly agreed to cancel the extra room with no fee. Excellent service and very attentive staff. Highly recommended!

Very clean. Excellent service. Within walking distance to restaurants, Canadian Tire and Tim’s , although they offered complementary coffee, tea and juices. Professionally operated. Large rooms. Would definitely stay there again

Currently staying at the property and thus far everything is great. Parking is fairly easy and the rooms are very clean and quiet. I booked a double queen, the room has a smaller dinning/work table, microwave and fridge so I would have no issues staying here for a longer period if needed. AC and heat doesn't seem to be limited to certain temperatures which is very important to me as I run hot and generally need the room to be fanned/cooler at night. Hot water does seem to take a minute so if you're staying here during the colder seasons give it just a little more time to warm up. I had to change my reservation a few days prior and had no issues, and check in was super easy. Great, friendly customer service thus far. One suggestion I would urge the owners to make - lights inside the rooms are too harsh. They are a bright white/blue colour which isn't really the greatest at night when you need to relax or as you're trying to settle in for bed. It's a very industrial/warehouse feel with the lighting - at the very least I'd swap the bulbs in the bedside lamps for something a lot warmer in colour and less bright so that they give a calmer, amber light. You can get warmer bulbs in LED as well so they are still economical and last a long time. With better lighting in the rooms the property is easily 5/5.
